Suudi-Türk Müteahhitlik Forumu İstanbul’da Başlatıldı: Al-Hogail Suudi ve Türk Şirketlerinin Temsilcileriyle Görüştü

His Excellency the Minister of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing, Engineer Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, under the patronage, today inaugurated the Saudi-Turkish Contracting Forum and the accompanying workshop held in Istanbul. The event, organized by the Saudi Contractors Authority (SCA), aims to create partnerships between contracting companies in Saudi Arabia and Turkey through consortiums in major development projects. Among the attendees were the Turkish Deputy Minister of Commerce, Mustafa Tuzcu, SCA Chairman Engineer Zakria Al-Abdulqadir, President of the Turkish Contractors Association (TCA) Mr. Erdal Eren, as well as representatives from Saudi and Turkish companies.

This initiative is part of the official visit of the Minister of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing to the Republic of Turkey, aimed at enhancing cooperation in real estate development, road infrastructure, waste management, recycling and attracting leading Turkish companies to invest in Saudi Arabia. During the forum, Minister Al-Hogail held meetings with representatives from Saudi and Turkish companies to explore investment opportunities and collaboration in the Saudi contracting sector, especially in municipal and housing projects. He emphasized the importance of involving the private sector in the development process and improving services for citizens, residents, and visitors in the Kingdom.

In his speech at the forum, Minister Al-Hogail highlighted the significance of cooperation in environmental, road, cleaning, waste management, and recycling sectors to enhance city services and benefit residents. He expressed optimism about the forum’s outcomes in promoting joint development efforts and increasing trade exchange between the two countries. The forum aims to create investment opportunities and consortiums between companies to enhance the quality of life in Saudi cities, improve the urban landscape, and provide suitable living conditions by applying global best practices.

Minister Al-Hogail emphasized that Vision 2030 aims to develop economic and social sectors, with the Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs, and Housing working towards achieving development goals for a prosperous society and economy. He highlighted the significant growth of the construction sector in Saudi Arabia and expressed the Kingdom’s interest in expanding partnerships with international companies and inviting Turkish firms to invest in various sectors such as construction, roads, and waste management in Saudi cities.
