Radisson Hotel Group is pleased to announce its significant progress in the Turkish market with the unveiling of seven new hotels, including six newly signed agreements and one recently launched property in the first half of this year. These developments mark a significant step towards the Group’s goal of operating 100 hotels in Turkey by 2030.

Turkey holds a strategic position for Radisson Hotel Group due to its geographical location and thriving tourism sector, making it one of the largest markets for the Group. Istanbul, in particular, plays a crucial role in this expansion due to its strong market performance, aiding the Group in solidifying its leadership position in the region.

Elie Younes, Executive Vice President and Global Chief Development Officer at Radisson Hotel Group, highlighted the importance of Turkey in the Group’s global strategy, emphasizing the commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences in cities like Istanbul, Izmir, Bursa, and Mersin.

Among the new developments, Radisson recently launched its first property in Yalova, leveraging the region’s thermal springs to attract visitors. The Group also signed agreements for hotels in Istanbul, Konya, and Kagithane, with plans for additional openings in Mersin, Izmir, and Bursa in the coming years.

Radisson’s strategic expansion in Turkey aims to introduce 70 new hotels into its global portfolio within the next three years and a total of 100 hotels by 2030. The Group plans to launch the vibrant Radisson RED in Istanbul and the Radisson Collection in major cities like Istanbul and Ankara, focusing on the leisure travel market with properties like Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Cesme, and Radisson Blu Hotel Mount Erciyes.

Upcoming hotel launches in Turkey include properties in Mersin, Izmir, Istanbul, and Bursa, further solidifying Radisson Hotel Group’s presence in the country. These hotels aim to cater to the diverse needs of travelers, offering luxurious accommodations, dining options, spa facilities, and more.
